first_imgOn Wednesday, Bob Weir and Wolf Bros continued their early-2019 tour with a performance at Milwaukee, WI’s Riverside Theater.The first set kicked off with Weir’s “Hell In A Bucket”, as the guitarist and frontman emphatically belted out his vocal lead backed by drummer Jay Lane and bassist Don Was. The trio moved forward with a tender take on “Loser” before kicking the tempo up with a twangy “Mama Tried”. Weir continued with the lead on an exploratory “Dark Star” which they followed with a high-energy “Passenger” before ultimately steering the ship back into “Dark Star” territory to complete the psychedelic Grateful Dead classic. The trio smoothly transitioned out of “Dark Star” into a cover of Bob Dylan’s “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” before closing the set out with “China Cat Sunflower” into “I Know You Rider”.
