Some schedules are harder than others.ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) has updated its preseason rankings as of the spring. One of the metrics they use is strength of schedule rankings. So which team has the toughest 2018 slate? According to the FPI, it is UCLA.Here’s the slate the Bruins have.As you can see, it is no joke. The Bruins have to go to Norman to play Oklahoma and even the home non-conference games (Cincinnati, Fresno State) aren’t easy.In Pac-12 play, the Bruins have to play arguably the three best teams in the league: USC, Stanford and Washington. Sure the games are at home, but they’ll be challenging nonetheless.Additionally, UCLA has to go to Oregon, and road trips to Colorado and Arizona State are not easy. You can view the full strength of schedule rankings here.last_img
