first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, June 26, 2019:During a property check of Town Hall, police noted 8 patio chairs left next to the dumpster. Police notified DPW for removal. (1:31am)A Lawrence Street caller reported a tree fell down in his driveway and partially blocked the roadway. Police notified DPW. (7:26am)Police cited for a driver on Middlesex Avenue for no inspection sticker and watching YouTube videos while driving. (12:29pm)Police issued a summons to a driver for speed and unlicensed operation. (3:19pm)A Wildwood Street resident requested additional traffic enforcement, reporting cars frequently speed on the road during this time of the day. (5:18pm)Polie came across two boxes in the roadway at Lake Street and Main Street. One box contained impact gun and drill bits. The other contained screws. Mass Highway and DPW contacted for clean up. (6:57pm)A caller reported his co-worker at NAPA punched him after an argument over a truck. Police responded. Man was advised to leave property and NAPA will seek no trespass order. (8:11pm)A 2-year-old child locked its family out of their Avalon Oaks apartment. Family was able to gain access.
